The E-Lektron RM2 microphone has a sensitive condenser capsule with a large diaphragm and an integrated high quality preamplifier. The signal is processed by the preamplifier for forwarding to e.g. a mixer or a USB audio interface.

To avoid background noises, the microphone is preferably operated in the shock-absorbing bracket supplied. In vocal applications, plosive sounds like P and B can be effectively attenuated with the magnetic pop protection.
The microphone holder can be attached to the included table stand, the holder is also compatible with conventional microphone stands.Condenser microphones are sensitive devices, so when you are not using the microphone, please store the microphone in the supplied case.
The preamplifier integrated in the microphone needs electricity to operate. The microphone does not have its own battery, but requires phantom power via the XLR microphone cable. The microphone can only be used on devices with microphone jacks where 48V phantom power is available.
